we will meet around 6:10 pm in the louge of building 11

for presentation Taku will do the introducation part.
i will do the principle and intra-cultrual communication
John will do the inter-cultural communication
Kana will do the approaches of our project
Erin will do the conclusion part.
which we decide later today

for the ppt we have up until now. I will try to upload it on the course navi, becasue i do not know how to upload it here!!!So please check it!!!

As far as the video goes, we've decided to pick three topics.

1) How the teacher teaches students (John)
In order to show the teacher-student relationship during the practice.
(can be included in the INTRA-COMMUNITY section)

2) Full-moon and Half-moon
If there are specific postures of the teacher and John holding swords,
which can represent full-moon and half-moon, that would be great!
For example, the view of John trying to defend himself from the teacher's sword.
(can be included to explain the concept)

3) John and the teacher talking (or John asking questions to him)
In order to briefly show our ways of approaching the community.
(can be included in "our approaches" part)

computer does not seem to like this camcorder
i am running to a friends house to get the videos from there. i will get a few minutes worth of each and then come home and edit it at home.

Taku - for the conclusion i'm asking everyone what is one thing they learned from this experience as a whole, so if you could think of something and write back that would be great!
for example: kana noted that she learned to work interdependently and to rely on other people's strengths for a better finished product (something short along those lines would be great!)

John, thanks for your effort!!!
I'm soooo bad at computers and IT related stuff,
so I can imagine how troublesome the problem can be...
Any peices of videos can be helpful for our presentation.
We can adjust our presentation to the clips of videos you made.
So don't stress yourself too much!!

It is past 2am and I am DONE!
I even found the energy to make a song for the whole thing. Although I did not realize that the song maker was working with bars (4/4 tempo) and the video was seconds. So I had made a good 2min song for a 40second clip. Haha.
No, this was all fun. The hardest thing was getting the raw files to my computer, after that it was all cake.
Well I have judo, the presentation, and work tomorrow so i need a good nights sleep. Goodnight everyone and let us kick butt tomorrow.

Hi everyone, thanks for the great work! Seems everything's going very well!!
What I have learned through this entire course is to evaluate other members, both good points and bad points.
Before, even when I'm working in a group, I just worked individually. But I learned that we can increase the group production by praising others' good points, or suggesting some changes.
